PAYMENT
$50 Deposit is required to reserve your appointment. When you book your appointment, an invoice will be sent to you to be paid online within 24 hours. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the time slot will be released and made available to others.
It is unfortunate that this policy is necessary, however due to the increased number of clients skipping their appointments, I must take this measure. I have limited spots available due to a large client load. When a client reserves and appointment and then does not show up, this means that they are preventing another family from getting the help they so desperately need. Furthermore, my time is valuable and just like any other type of employment, I expect to be paid for my time.
CANCELLATION
Clients may cancel appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice and receive a full refund. If you have a last-minute emergency, providing you contact me BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT time, I will reschedule your appointment one time.
If I need to cancel an appointment due to a family emergency or illness, I will do my best to reschedule your appointment at a mutually convenient time and if I am unable to do so, you will receive a full refund and I will do my best to find a trusted colleague who can see you within a reasonable delay.
REFUNDS
Full refund will be given for cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice. If client cancels less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, no refund will be given. If the IBCLC needs to cancel and is unable to reschedule within a reasonable delay, a full refund will be given.
GUARANTEE
In health care, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. This is also true for lactation care. While in the vast majority of cases, we are able to significantly improve breastfeeding comfort and efficacy, there are some cases where despite doing everything possible, we do not get the results we hoped for. Refunds will not be given due to lack of improvement.
MUTUAL RESPECT
I commit to conducting my practice with respect and without any bullying, discrimination or harassment or any kind. It is expected that my clients and anybody accompanying them will conduct themselves in this way as well. I reserve the right to end any client relationship where I feel this is not the case.
